The Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR) in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Colombo will soon launch a series of virtual trainings on investigative journalism under CIR’s flagship program, the Media Literacy Foundations initiative.

Journalists who are already practicing investigative journalists and those interested in developing their investigative reporting skills can apply for the above training programs, to be conducted in Sinhala, Tamil and English.

Participants will be trained to investigate systemic corruption and upon completing the three-part training, will become eligible to apply for short-term investigative journalism fellowships.
