One-Health Toolkit: Reporting on Monkeypox

As of 23 July 2022, more than 70 countries have reported outbreaks of monkeypox, a viral zoonotic disease. ?

The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared monkeypox a global health emergency. If you’re covering it, check out this new toolkit from EJN’s sister network Internews Health Journalism Network

⬇️Download the toolkit here: https://bit.ly/3cKsnBn

It provides a set of recommendations and resources to help journalists produce more in-depth stories on the outbreak — and efforts to curb it. It’s also the first in a new One-Health Toolkit series designed to help journalists better report on One-Health: the interconnections between the health of humans, animals & the environment.
