First English Medium Training Programme: Investigative Journalism Foundations Virtual Training Series

Third batch of Investigative Journalism Foundations virtual training series will commence tomorrow, 14 August 2021. Twenty journalists representing number of media organizations expected to join this intensive training. Thirty-seven more journalists have already completed the training in the first two batches.

Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR) brings this virtual training program with the objective upskilling a select group of journalists in fundamentals of investigative journalism and the community best practices. At the end of the program this core group of will be awarded media fellowships and encouraged to develop in depth investigative content with the guidance of experienced investigative journalists.

Investigative Journalism Foundations training series is supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the European Union (EU). Content support was provided by the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN).

It is intended to train about 150 mid-career journalists through the training series and currently few slots are available for future batches. If interested, please register via below link.
