Content Manager
Key Tasks
- Lead the CitizensConnect Studio, a new digital/visual content production team which publishes digital/ visual resources fed from a network of digital/ visual storytellers around the country.
- Drive and manage the story production process maintaining the highest possible quality of story production.
- Hold the editorial responsibility for the daily/ weekly production cycle of the digital/ visual stories.
- Liaise with content curators to establish the editorial model of content production and editing.
- Achieve high outreach and public awareness on stories published.
Core Competencies
- Previous experience in media development and journalism, visual storytelling, digital literacy, and project management.
- Degree or professional qualifications in visual storytelling, video editing, journalism or any other relevant field.
- Tri-lingual or bi-lingual with fluency in English
- Computer proficiency in MS Office packages and other communications applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, teamwork, and ability to work independently
Content Associate/ Content Coordinator
Key Tasks
- Liaise/ coordinate with the network of digital/visual storytellers to ensure a daily story inflow for the publishing through CitizensConnect Studio.
- Act as the point of contact for digital/ visual storytellers to discuss about their story submissions, feedback for improvements and other logistical requirements.
- Assist Content Manager in identifying, scheduling, and projecting high quality stories, storytellers to ensure a smooth and continuous story production and publishing cycle.
- Provide basic level of editorial support/ guidance to visual/ digital storytellers to submit high quality stories.
Core Competencies
- Previous experience in media development and journalism, visual storytelling, digital literacy, and project management.
- Professional qualifications in visual storytelling, video editing, journalism or any other relevant field.
- Tri-lingual or bi-lingual with fluency in English
- Computer proficiency in MS Office packages and other communications applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, teamwork, and ability to work independently
Visual/ Digital Editor
Key Tasks
- Undertake daily/ weekly schedule of video editing in consultation of Content Manager.
- Work closely with Content Associate/ Content Coordinator to maintain the routine visual/ digital story production cycle.
- Provide tech support to storytellers to enhance the digital/ visual quality of their stories.
Core Competencies
- Prior experience in video/ digital editing.
- Professional qualifications in video editing, animations and graphics.
- Previous experience in a media institution would be an added advantage.
- Tri-lingual or bi-lingual would be an added advantage
- Computer proficiency in MS Office packages and other communications applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills, time management, teamwork, and ability to work independently
