Funding Independent Journalism in South Asia: CIR’s Executive Director panellist at GIJN webinar

Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN) will feature Centre for Investigative Reporting (CIR) Executive Director Dilrukshi Handunnetti as a panellist at a webinar on ‘Funding Independent Journalism in South Asia’ on Wednesday, May 11 at 3.30pm.

Organised jointly by the GIJN and Center of Excellence in Journalism in Pakistan, this webinar will discuss how to make independent news organisations economically sustainable.

Badar Alam, Editor,Sujag (Pakistan), Sunil Rajshekhar, CEO, Independent and Public Spirited Media Foundation (India), and Munizae Jahangir, Co-Founder and editor, VoicePk (Pakistan) are the other panellists of the webinar. It is moderated by Amel Ghani, Regional Editor for GIJN.
