DCAP Sri Lanka Trauma Reporting Support Program | 16-18 September 2022 | Singapore

Dart Centre for Journalism and Trauma, Asia Pacific (DCAP) will hold a two-day trauma reporting support program for Sri Lankan journalists in Singapore. The program is designed to build resilience during traumatic reporting situations. It will be held between September 16-18th, 2022.

The program is part of DCAP’s ongoing engagement with the Sri Lankan journalism community to enhance safe reporting skills. The Sri Lankan journalism community has faced unprecedented turmoil in their professional and personal lives since public protests erupted in April. This program will create the opportunity to take a step back from the day-to-day deadlines and reporting routines. It will also give the DCAP and the Sri Lanka journalism community a chance to build on its ongoing engagements to setup an effective peer support network for journalists in Sri Lanka.
