The Future of Journalism in South Asia Webinar Series – Elevating Journalism Standards

Today, journalism has drifted to new and unfamiliar levels. Many journalists opted for digital journalism against conventional media. What used to be teamwork in a newsroom, now operates mainly individualistically. Thus, journalism standards are no more institutional but rather individual.

To support the journalism professionals so they can fit into these changes, the Centre for Investigative Reporting (CIR), Sri Lanka and Media Unlimited, Pakistan, supported by the META Journalism Project, are conducting a series of webinars for journalists and media professionals from Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. These webinars will explore, discuss, and find ways to cope with the challenges of the new normal.

If you are a journalist or media professional and want to learn new skills by better understanding issues relating to these new challenges, our upcoming webinar scheduled to be held on September 15, 2022 under the theme ‘Elevating Journalism Standards’.

Please register for the webinar on or before September 5, 2022, following the link below.
