The Future of Journalism in South Asia Webinar series – Engaging the Next Generation of Journalists

The future of reporting in the age of digital media is a challenge for new generation journalists. As lines between conventional and social media are blurred, journalists have to navigate through a number of issues – from maintaining standards and abiding by ethics to fighting censorship of various kinds and being mindful of disinformation.

To highlight some of the challenges faced by these journalists, the Centre for Investigative Reporting (CIR), Sri Lanka in collaboration with Media Unlimited, Pakistan, and supported by the META Journalism Project, will be holding a webinar on October 6, 2022.

Subject experts and senior practitioners from the field will share their experiences and give insights on how to navigate in the emerging scenario.

If you are a digital journalist or a media professional from Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan or Sri Lanka and eager to better understanding these new challenges, please register for the upcoming webinar on or before September 26, 2022.
