CIR and CCAB jointly launch Facebook Fundamentals for News in Bangladesh

The Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR) in collaboration with the Center for Communication Action Bangladesh (C-CAB) will virtually launch ‘Facebook Fundamentals for News,’ a mobile-based foundational program for Bangladeshi journalists tomorrow morning. (5). 

A member of the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN), CIR is Sri Lanka’s first investigative journalism center and promotes excellence in investigative journalism within Sri Lanka and the South Asian region. The new initiative is part of CIR’s regional efforts. 

Supported by the Facebook Journalism Project, the objective of the program is to upskill over 1,000 journalists and newsroom teams through a mobile-first learning initiative which will be delivered via the ‘BigSpring’ mobile platform.
