Reporting from the Frontlines: Climate Crisis Safety for Women Journalists

The Centre for Investigative Reporting (CIR) and the Nepal Investigative Multimedia Journalism Network (NIMJN) will bring together women journalists in Kathmandu on 28 October 2026 for a full-day training on natural disaster safety.

The training focuses on developing natural disaster safety plans for frontline journalists, including how to prepare for disaster coverage, respond to emergencies, and recover, with an emphasis on self-care.

The program was created by the Vital Voices Global Partnership and a part of its Crisis Readiness Training for Women Leaders.
